Meet Owner and Therapist, Elizabeth Hinkle

Elizabeth (she/her) has been a therapist since 2004 and sees clients of all ages dealing with anxiety, work/school stress, trauma, depression, family/relationship conflict, and parenting concerns.

In her free time, Elizabeth likes to read, listen to music, sing, create art, and explore new places through travel. She has two cats, whom you might see on camera as they like to be around for therapy sessions.

MH Matters, LLC was formed in 2021 by Elizabeth Hinkle to provide mental health therapy and consultation services. Named for Mental Health Matters, Elizabeth has long believed in mental health and emotional well-being as equally important to physical health. Since becoming trained in EMDR, Elizabeth has embraced this modality and its signature phrase, "go with that." It represents Elizabeth's non-judgmental approach to therapy and going with whatever comes up in sessions.

MH Matters stands for being neurodivergent-friendly, an ally to the LGBTQ+ community,  anti-racist, feminist, COVID-conscious, and pro-human rights.
